Not a replica, relic or reproduction, this is the real deal from 1954, serial no: 18XXX. The guitar has seen some Honky Tonks and Bars for sure. It has been played for a Reason! This is Hands Down! the BEST sounding J-185 Ever! Some minor issues; refret, Jack hole on the side (Not hooked up) Strap Button on the heel, has a Crack on the top that has been filled and cleated. Neck has not been reset, it does not need it, Does not buzz, no loose bracing. Comes with a Brown Lifton Hard case. I was told the guitar was once owned by Barney Kessel, I do not have any documentation to prove it but it was bought in San Diego in the 70\'s with Receipt from a store he would frequent.
