Today\'ssale showcases this LeCoultre Memovox with distinctive design. It isa classic LeCoultre alarm and has one of the seldom seen styles of U.S.market 10K gold-filled cases.

Asmid-century approached and lifestyle paces moved faster and faster, topSwiss firms needed a way to enhance the experiences of their nowfrequently traveling top clients and to help him better organize andgovern his most precious possession - his time. In response to thisneed the engineers at Jaeger-LeCoultre created an alarm wristwatch in1951.

Thewatches featured a fully mechanical alarm system. To pull off thisdifficult task, Jaeger-LeCoultre equipped these watches withsignificant inner alarm gearing and even an additional stem and crown,making elements of second movement that worked seamlessly inconjunction with the normal timing portion.

Thedial, which has a stronger retro look than many of these, is a vintagerestoration. The case and dial give this watch a more distinctive lookthan many of the other U.S. market alarm models. Our watchmaker hasfreshly cleaned and oiled the movement and replaced the hammer with afresher original LeCoultre part. The alarm now rings strong and clear.

Includedwith the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and itsfunction, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate ofAuthenticity, a new timing certificate, and a copy of the repair manualfor this model detailing the movement parts and their operation.
