Serial nos. EL- 688356 to 738355, model 99K 50, Production date October 2, 1956.This sale is for a Singer Model 99K Portable Sewing Machine, precursor to the Singer Feather Weight. It weighs just under 30 pounds and is quite a bit heavier than the Featherweights but still portable. It does everything a Featherweight can do including leather, denim and heavy fabrics.This 99k singer sewing machine is in excellent lightly used condition as seen in pictures. A little dusty I noticed after taking the photos and enlarging. It\'s hard to believe this machine is over sixty years of age. It runs and sews very well as it should. This is a very clean machine and comes with original foot pedal, also working well.The machine is 3/4 size and measures 12\" X 9\". Original case that houses the machine is in very good condition, with just a little scuffing. Has a hard sturdy handle and the latches work great. The case measures approx. 15\" wide, 8\" deep and 12\" tall. Included are several rolls of thread, extra parts and unopened packages of 99k sewing needles, in a well made wood mini sewing machine accessories case. This machine is in excellent condition & it is a \"Work Horse\" and will be a great machine to own and use. It comes with the original model 99k instruction manual.
