1958 Vintage Holt Howard Pixieware Lil’ Sugar & Cream Crock
ADORABLE!! With this set being one of the first Pixies produced by Holt Howard, it is in awesome condition.The Pixie spoon shows a rough spot on the front of the spoon; it shows several minusculemanufacture dimples on the top and bottom of the white part on the lid; the Pixie’s head is very nice and shows vivid color on the face,hair and bow. The spoon shows crazing overall but is slightly darker on the top of the lid (white part) which is typical in pieces with age. The Lil’ Sugar bowl is excellent and shows no chips, cracks, missing paint or crazing. The Cream Croc shows no chips,cracks, missing paint, repairs or crazing but the blue coloring is lighter than the color on the Lil’ Sugar bowl and the black wording is slightly lighter as well, but still very intact and legible, (this leads me to think that this set was not an original from manufacture, but put together as a set by separate pieces). Both jars have the Holt Howard backstamp and original black & gold stickers. Please before purchase, check all photos and ask questions as they are a large part of the description.
