1960\'s Modernist Double Spout Vase, Jane & Gordon Martz, Marshall Studios, 10 1/4\"

Description

Exceptional 1960’s Jane & Gordon Martz double spout modernist vase with mat blue/gray finish and lightly incised vertical decorations. Signed on bottom with design number, the vase measures 10 1/4 inches tall and has no flaws. Jane Marshall Martz & Gordon Martz were active in Veedersburg, Indiana at the Marshall Studios from the 1950’s until their retirement in 1989. Their works stood beside those of Charles and Ray Eames, Harry Bertoia, Raymond Lowey and Stig Lindberg, among others, at the 1953 MoMA exhibition “Good Design.”
