Exquisite Vintage Mid-Century Art Glass Penguin Sculpture hand-crafted in Murano Italy and dating from c. 1960, with original \"Murano\" paper foil sticker.
For sale is this exquisitely hand-crafted Mid-20th Century art glass penguin sculpture dating from approximately 1960, originating from Murano Italy. This beautiful standing penguin sculpture features Sommerso glass techniques with black glass contrasting a clear glass casing. Murano penguin sculptures from this period have been associated with numerous important glass studios including Dino Martens, Cenedese, Archimede Seguso and Barovier & Toso. This penguin sculpture is of a substantial density (thickness) and measures approximately 7\" height by 4.5\" width by 3.25\" depth. The penguin sculpture is in excellent condition with no damages. This sale is exclusively for the vintage hand-blown Murano penguin sculpture. This piece retains the original paper \"Murano\" sticker (see last photo). Good luck to all buyers. .
