1960s VTG Feders Brutalist Glass Hanging Swag Lamp Pendant Light Fixture Retro:

This dynamic 1960s brutalist light fixture was handcrafted in Mexico by high end lighting firm, Feders.
The fixture is made of a torch cut copper cage inset with hand-molded glass medallions. The glass is very similar to glass Erik Hoglund was producing for Kosta Boda and I\'ve seen a few of these fixtures misidentified as such. Feders produced amazing pendants and chandeliers and it\'s well worth a google search to look at the jaw dropping designs.

The piece is in very good vintage condition. All the glass pieces are in place and free of cracks. There is one spot on one of the glass medallions that looks like it is chipped. This is a surface air bubble in the glass that \"popped\" most likely around the time of production.

Rewired with a new pull-chain socket and new cording as a swag lamp that plugs into an existing outlet. Approximately 15 feet of chain to hang with. It is easily converted to a hard wired pendant fixture.
60 watt max - If more light is desired, I\'d suggest using an LED or compact fluorescent bulb.
