This is wonderful 1961 Santa Planter ny Napco. He is holding a book that says Merry Xmas. He has rabbit fur on his hat, ball of hat and the front part of gloves. I did no cleaning in fear of getting the fur wet. I bought this at an Estate Sale. It still has the foil makers label on bottom along with the original Markings from Factory. I do believe he is in great condition for his age. There are no chips or cracks. He does have a spot of black on the back of his hat, not sure if it will come off as I said I didn\'t try to clean this. Some of the fur is not as fluffy as I am sure it was when new but still nice. One area by a glove could probably use some regluing- kinda pulling up. Please take a look at my photo\'s for they are part of my description also and you can zoom in and judge the condition for your self. I do my very best to describe everything I see.There are holly leaves around the outside of the planter that was done in cold paint and some has worn off. The inside of the planter is nice and clean. There is a glob of green paint on the binder of the book which came from factory. His expression is just so realistic and done so nicely for being a dime store item in the 1960\'s. I have never seen one of these before. He measures 5 inches across at the widest point which is his book and is 5 1/2 inches tall and is 4 inches deep. There a 3 up with noel on book but none with Merry Xmas when I listed mine. Just a great piece for Christmas or the Santa lover as well.Most of my items I get from Estate Sales or sales. I try my best to discribe everything to the best of my ability. I DO NOT KNOW IF THEY COME FROM SMOKE OR PET FREE HOMES!!!! I have worked with very strong chemicals all of my life and I have really no sense of smell so please if any of these are an issue for you please don\'t offer on them. If I know that they come from a smoke or pet home I will tell you but buying at sales and estate sales usually you can\'t get that kind of information. High buyer pays shipping.
