Offered is a VERY scarce UNCRACKED 1961 full size 34 inch baseball bat commemorating Roger Maris hitting 61 home runs. See photos for condition. There are some dings and what looks like an old tape mark around the upper middle of the bat.
Bat is made by Cambridge, a company that did not make a ton of bats back in the day.
Logo of the bat says CAMBRIDGE with CHAMPIONSHIP over the logo and SELECTED WOOD under the logo along with the initials RM (Roger Maris). POWER DRIVE in script lettering is to the right of the logo.
The signature part of the bat is a sweet silver logo that says ROGER MARIS in block letters and the number 61 within a silver baseball. The markings are NOT deep but most of the silver remains in tact.
This is a thick handled solid piece of lumber and will be a great addition to any high end Maris or bat collection.
This is a super scarce Maris bat and among the best condition for this bat in the hobby.
