Technostalgia LED retro-fit kits are engineered for each specific vehicle and allow for LED brightness and reliability while using the stock lens and tail light housing. Originally, the Beetle tail light was segmented into a turn signal area and a stop light area. The net viewing area was quite small and difficult to see. After conversion, the entire tail light lens is utilized for the stop, turn, and tail light functions. Using the entire surface area of the lens allows following drivers better visibility of the vehicle. The best quality LED\'s on the market are used. The LED\'s have four attachment points to the printed circuit board for durability and a wide viewing angle for maximum visibility. This type of LED has a square shape and is designed specifically for automotive use.

Rapidfire brake light function: the brake lights are pulsed rapidly three times within the first 1/2 second of pressing the brake pedal followed by constant ON. This cycle is repeated every time the brake pedal is pressed. This is a very valuable safety feature, but can be over ridden at time of installation.
