Ralph Schoeffer, pointing with snorkel, and Art Paolini, second right in photo at left, explain basic points in SCUBA (self contained underwater breathing apparatus) to members of Albany YMCA class, which meets bi-weekly at the central State Street division. Here they show proper use of air valve. Class members are, left to right, Harold Greenhouse, Ed Taylor and Marc Bogart.
