The Bachelor Pad Clockof the Rat Pack Era
This highly collectible KundO electronic impulse clock was state of the art in clock making of the 1960s. Beautifully designed in a sleek minimalist museum case, and running a unique magnetic impulse movement, it is easy to imagine one sitting on Dean Martin\'s or Frank Sinatra\'s mantlepiece.
The brushed brass surfaces of the clock are nearly flawless, even though it has been in service for 53 years. The movement has been disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, rebuilt, adjusted, and the few areas that need it were lubricated in our shop. The result will be many years of faithful service. The very unique pendulum power system is a highly advanced electromagneticpulse device. The polished steel tube on the pendulum houses a strong magnet. The brass cylinder surrounding it contains a transistor and tightly wound copper coil. The transistor sends a tiny pulse of energy into the coil 120 times per minute, creating an equal polarity to the magnet, and \"pushing\" the pendulum through the next cycle. It runs absolutely silently, accurately, and is amazingly efficient. In theory, the two regular AA batteries hidden in the base should power the clock for 10 years.
This clock comes with instructions and a three-year written warranty. It will be packed verycarefully for shipping. ULCS is committed to your satisfaction. Our clock owners and response areenthusiastically positive, and we like to keep it that way.
