Verona: Limited Editions Club, 1965Tall octavo (8-1/4\" x 12-1/4\") bound in half blue levant morocco leather with the title stamped in gold leaf and the boards covered with a beige mould-made Italian paper with the front cover impressed with a head of Petrarch drawn by the illustrator. Planned at the Officina Bodoni and printed at the Stamperia Valdonega by Giovanni Mardersteig. Illustrated with a series of graphite-transfer drawings by Aldo Salvadori. Of a total edition of 1500 copies SIGNED by the artist and the printer on the colophon page, this is number 1239 of only 1500 Presentation Copies, with the signatrues and the number both handwritten. Fine in a Near Fine dustwrapper with a slightly faded spine and a near fine slipcase. Good luck!
