1966 Gibson ES335 TDC Vintage Cherry Nice Condition. Selling for a friend who plays bass. He bought this guitar about 15-20 years ago, and it just sat. Because he\'s a bass player! Anyway, it\'s mostly original, and has some wonderful checking throughout the guitar. It looks to have had a professional fret job. The pickup covers look newer, and are not original. Also the guitar was upgraded to Grovers at some point, and now have newer original style Kluson. All else looks to be original. The guitar sounds, and plays wonderfully! The neck is arrow straight, and there is very little wear. Only one or 2 small dings in the body, absolutely no buckle rash, or ugliness.The back of the neck has several dings, but they are not more than through the finish. The neck is very comfortable to play, with a beefy, but not club sized feel. The guitar comes w/ a vintage Epi case. This is a great vintage 335, at a reasonable price for its age!
*** Of course all of the potentiometers have some soldier on the date codes. But, one of the volume controls was mostly visible, and is marked: 137663? .....seeing \"66\" & \"3\" means the pot was manufactured July 25th, 1966 at the earliest, or latest September 30, 1966. I\'m assuming that this guitar is late 1966, or possibly early \'67
