You are offerding on ONE (1)circulated 1966 (Showa year 41 - 四十一) 100 Yen ( ¥100 ) silver coin. This ¥100 coin was the last 100 yen coin minted for normal circulation. The picture shows a front and back look at the design, but this is for only one coin.

This ¥100 coin was last minted in 1966 and has a milled edge.It is composed of 60 percent silver, 30 percent copper, and 10 percent zinc. It weighs 4.8 grams and measures 22.6 mm in diameter.

This is great for a coin collection or someone making jewelry.

The obverse of the coin depicts the denomination of 100, Showa and year in Kanji, while the reverse shows a sheaf of rice and Japan and 100 in Kanji. This design was only minted from 1959 to 1966 with this coin year being the last year.
