Here\'sthe1967 Krewe of Olympia (HAS) Antique Bronze Doubloon.Theobverse features the Olympia Logo. The reverse features a Helmet and Sword and reads \"FAMOUS BATTLES OF HISTORY...1967.\" The doubloon measures39 mm or 1 1/2\" in diameter and isinExcellentCondition.Payment due within 48 hours of purchase.Note: The Krewe of Olympia is from the Mandeville-Covington, LA Area. This doubloon was designed by H. Alvin Sharpe, the creator of the Mardi Gras doubloon. While it does not bear his familiar \'HAS\' initials, the perimeter beading and lettering are classic HAS. It is very possible that this doubloon was designed by one of Mr. Sharpe\'s apprentices, with his assistance and under his tutelage. Much nicer than it appears in the photos. (Unless specifically described as toning, any Gold, Green and Purple hues appearing on a doubloon are the reflection of a Mardi Gras Banner which hangs above my desk.)
