Here\'s the story- It\'s 1969. A small town fellow in Saratoga, WY wants to learn to play the guitar. He goes to a Chicago-based mail order catalog (Alden\'s, now defunct) and buys this guitar. He tries to teach himself to play and has no success. He gives up quickly, apparently within a few hours of trying. It goes in the closet. It stays there in the same house in the dry Western climate for the next 48 years. He dies. His wife moves to the local nursing home. She finds out I buy, sell, trade, collect guitars. She asks me to sell it for her. End of story. Your turn.
Here it is. Dead mint. You will see lots of these out there touting that term, but if you are a collector this is the pristine one you want. Original strings maybe (?). Definitelyoriginal shipping box for the amp with a 1969 postage label. Desiccant pack labeled in Japanese. Strap. Cord. The original chipboardcase has a few closet dings and a 10-12\" strip of the trim on the back edge is missing its thread. There is no mold, mildew, corrosion, rust, pitting, etc.
