Exceptional Quality Mid-20th Century Vintage Hand-printed Textile Wall Hanging with a Graphic Peacock Motif on Jute, Scandinavian and dating from c.1970.
For sale we are offering this exceptional quality Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern period hand-printed textile wall hanging with a graphic peacock motif produced on jute and dating from approximately c.1970. This work is by far one of the finest Scandinavian jute textile pieces we have offered to date. The textile features a beautiful original graphic peacock artwork produced in deep red, orange, yellow, pink, black and brown. This textile measures approximately 42\" width by 34\" height. The textile is in excellent condition with strong colour. Acquired from the original owner this piece was maintained in a clean non-smoking Environment. There are no odors or damages. The buyer will need to provide two wooden dowels (available at any hardware store) that can be run though the openings at top and bottom of the hanging. This work is signed to the bottom right \"C\". All photos are of the actual textile for sale. This sale is exclusively for the textile, without wooden dowels included in consideration of shipping the item at the fairest rate.
