NOTE: This guitar is NOT made by Gibson, and I am not trying to pass it off as one that is.
For sale is a vintage Japanese Les Paul. From research I\'ve done, the neck of the guitar is most likely made by Sekova in Japan some time in the 70\'s. I\'m not sure if the body is original or not. I don\'t believe it is, because the neck of the guitar intrudes in the space of the neck pickup ring (pictured above). The guy I bought the guitar from said he thought the body was made by Epiphone, but I have no way to verify.
The back of the neck has a spot near the head that is scratched up(also pictured). The headstock has also had it\'s Sekova logo taken off, and replaced with a decal of a Gibson logo. It\'s very obvious to see both in person, and in the pictures, that it\'s not a real Gibson logo.  The body is in pretty good condition. It has some minor scratching and a small chip in the paint on the back of the guitar (pictured). The only problem with the electronics is the input jack, which can buzz pretty loud if you bump it the wrong way.  The guitar as a whole sounds and plays surprisingly nicely.
