Esso Petrolium 1972 Munich Olympics Sticker CollectionAs part of a money-raising campaign to promote and support the British Olympic Team for the 1972 Munich Olympics Esso Petrol gave away individual stickers with purchases of their petrol in the months leading up to the Games.Each photograph of an athlete, or poster for an historic Games, or a representation of a competing nation\'s Flag varies in size but the overall measurement for each \'page\' is approximately 152 mm x 96 mm. Each of these stickers have been owned by myself since my family collected them at the Esso petrol stations in 1972 ! So only one careful owner. The plastic backings have never been removed (so who knows if they are still \'sticky\' on the reverse but I guess they probably will be).The book which the stickers were designed to be placed in is now much more commonly available than the stickers themselves, which are now quite uncommon to find in good condition.This \'blurb\' is my own description for these items and each photo is my own of the actual stickers for sale (not copied from anyone else and not just stock photos).Each sticker, being now more than 40 years old, has that lovely, slightly dusty scent of an aged book, and all are in very good condition (unless otherwise stated).All come from a smoke-free home.Thanks for looking :)This \'page\' has two separate stickers;#13,,, Poster for the 1936 Berlin Games#28,,, M.
