Graphic T-Shirts were the craze in the 1970's. Advertising Restaurants, Night Clubs, Manufacturers, Events, Rock and Roll, etc.. In San Francisco there was a leader in the silk screen T-shirts businessHipo-O- Potamus creations. With a large production and Art department Hipo produced high quality prints through the early to mid 1970's. Hipo was also responsible for the first Rock and Roll concert T's starting with the Grateful Dead.
The sales dept. created a library of the prints they created by printing a sample on high quality Czechoslovakian linen when a new print was produced. This library of 16" x 16" prints is very assorted with many businesses and events along with Rock designs.
