Up for sale is a vintage made in USA 1976 Fender Precision bass guitar with the rare jazz style neck profile (1.5\" nut width). The neck is absolutely straight and without the usual \"ski jump\" at the heel. Truss rod works as it should. Bass is very lightweight at approx 8 lbs and combined with the thinner neck profile makes it very balanced with no neck dive. Very comfortable for all-night performance. All components and solders are original giving it that great vintage deep, round, buttery p-bass sound. Bass has been well loved in the past and has moderate chips, dings, and belt buckle rash. Neck finish is worn at the edges and the frets show some wear but still have lots of life left. The finish shows cracks and crazing. Includes correct bridge cover and reproduction rosewood thumb rest, pick-up cover is missing. Well worn but functional period correct case is included.
