Vintage BMX Mongoose Bike for Sale. I am the original owner; purchased brand new in 1977 from Plano Schwinn (now Plano Cycling and Fitness). Stolen in 1979 and recovered three months later in 1979 - serial number was filed. I replaced original seat with a BMX Brooks brand seat (near new condition) when recovered in 1979. Vintage Mongoose red frame, vintage mongoose pads (Mongoose cross pad and mongoose logo gooseneck pad), vintage stickers, pedals, reflectors, yellow handlegrips. MX-60 Dale Enterprises yellow/gold mag wheels and vintage black ashtabula forks. Mags are in nice condition. Red frame is nice and well-cared for. Stickers show some cracking from age. Bike has been carefully stored and well-cared for since 1979.

The only thing not original are the BMX tires, which I replaced in 2012 with modern BMX style tires and tubes; they are brand new condition.
