Here\'s the 1981 Krewe of Poseidon (H. Alvin Sharpe) Oxidized Silver High Relief Doubloon. The doubloon measures 39 mm or 1 1/2\" in Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note: The obverse features the Poseidon Logo. The reverse features a Historical Sailing Ship and reads \"CIRCA 1631...1981.\" This doubloon was designed by H. Alvin Sharpe, the Creator of the Mardi Gras Doubloon and bears his familiar \'HAS\' initials. Mr. Sharpe designed both the obverse and reverse of this doubloon. A World Renown Marine Artist before moving to New Orleans, Mr. Sharpe\'s Ship Designs represent some of his finest work as an Intaglio Engraver. He created the \"Poseidon Ship Series\" of doubloons dating from 1967 through 1983, with each doubloon featuring different ships from throughout Nautical History.
