Here\'s the1982Pete Fountain\'s Half-Fast Walking Club.999 Fine SilverDoubloon (Cracked Die and Clashed Die Reverse Variety).Thedoubloon measures 39 mm or1 1/2\" indiameterandis in ExcellentCondition. Payment due within 48 hours of purchase. Note:The obversefeatures the Pete Fountain with His FatherLogo.The reversefeaturesan American Indian in Full Headdressand reads \"AMERICAN INDIANS...THIS IS YOUR DAY...1982.\"This doubloon has \"999 FS\" stamped into its edge at the 6 o\'clock position. This doubloon has both a Cracked Die and a Clashed Die Reverse. The Cracked Die Line runs from the Perimeter at 12 o\'clock down between the \'N\' of \"American\" and the \'I\' of \"Indian\" where it branches into two lines, one extending straight down into the tip of the Headdress, and the other goes through the \'N\' of \"American\" then into base of the second\'A\' in \"American.\" (See First Photo). There is also a slight defect in the edge of the rim at the 12 o\'clock position indicating that the die may have also broken during this strike. The Reverse also has evidence of a Clashed Die most notable in the Three Feathers above the Right Eye of the Indian. The ribbing in the feathers is flattened or smashed on at least half of those three feathers. This Variety is not mentioned in the 2016 Doubloon Guide suggesting that this specific doubloonwas issued in Very Limited Number and isQuite a Rare Doubloon.
