Three-piece set of Royal Doulton bone china from their Brambly Hedge Gift Collection. The series is entitled, \"Four Seasons\" and this particular design features \"Summer\". The tea plate measures 6 1/4\" in diameter. It states on the underside of plate, \"Midsummer\'s Day was picked for the wedding between Poppy Eyebright and Dusty Dogwood, and preparations were started at once\". All pieces have a copyright of 1983 and feature the artwork of Jill Barklem. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2\". The delicately designed footed cup measures 3\" in height.
