This sale is for a Bossons \"SIR LANCELOT\" head, KNIGHT OF KING ARTHUR\'S ROUND TABLE - C. 500 AD - No. 209 - it is dated 1991. Sir Lancelot is wearing Roman armour because this is historically correct. King Arthur and his fellow Romano/British aristocrats ruled Britain in the 6th century AD following the Roman army\'s 350-year occupation. All BOSSONS models are precise reproductions of original works of art designed and created by Mr. W. Ray Bossons ASIAD and either modelled by him personally or under his close supervision and direction. Each model is a work of art in its own right as it is individually hand-produced, involving a number of talented individuals and employing advanced moulding techniques which exactly reproduce the fine detail and subtle qualities of the originals. Sir Lancelot is signed by Ray Bosson and he still has his original tag. He measures 8\" tall by 5\" across and he is in excellent condition.
