DESCRIPTIONIn the mid 1990s, Fleer produced 20 box cases for several of its Marvel card products, and inside each case, in a white envelope, were 6 1/2 inch by 10 inch Prints (a promotional bonus for dealers). These Prints typically had illustrations of popular Marvel characters that were identical to base or chase cards from the set, except, of course, for their large size. The number of different Prints produced, as well as the number of them that were included in the envelope, varied from product to product. This is a complete 2 card set of 1996 Marvel Masterpieces MASTERPRINTS that were the Case Topper insert for the Fleer 1996 Marvel Masterpieces card cases. (Most of Fleer\'s products had 6 to 10 different case topper prints - the 96MM had only these 2!). These prints are one of the more RARE ones - quite scarce and tough to find. The set consists of the following Prints:CAPTAIN AMERICA (artist: Julie Bell)
and
SILVER SURFER (artist: Boris Vallejo)
These Prints are very collectible due to the scarcity, popularity of the characters, and the fantastic illustrations by two of Marvel\'s very best artists. These large cards can be placed in single card sheets for a three ring binder, or placed in an oversized top-loader, or a standard comic board and bag to be displayed on the wall or desktop.
