This listing is for a pair of French 19th century 2 color bronze figural blackamoor candle holders. The figures measure 16 1/2 inches or 42cm high, and are 5 1/2 inches or 14cm at their widest. They feature a standing figure dressed in a short tunic with a raised floral pattern and an elaborate headdress. They hold one hand in the air, like they are waving and the other holds a tall staff with a single candle cup at the top. The figures have a black patina or color and their clothes and base are in a dark gold patina which is all original to the pieces.
