This is a mid-Victorian pierced and carved fan. With gilt decoration, the leaf is silk and net, decorated with gold and silver sequin type designs. The guards and sticks look to be bone.

It\'s about 8 1/2\" tall, 15\" measured end to end, completely open. There are two holes in the net, pictured above. The rest is very good, including the silk.
