Fabulous estate find - Antique brooch with hand painted enameled scene set into an 18k yellow gold frame with engraved detail.
The painting is exquisite. The coloration and detailing is amazing. The mountains and sky are stunning. So much nicer than these photos show.
The scene is hand painted and enameled on metal. Scene area measures 1 3/4\" x 1 3/8\". Total size of brooch is 2 3/8\" x 1 7/8\" so it is a nice size.
The pin is unmarked but the mounting has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 18K solid gold.Beautiful condition. There are a few tiny faint scratches on the surface that are extremely difficult to see. Any white areas in the photos are glarereflections and not damage.
