Antique Chinese firecracker label, very delicate, NEVER USED. Made from hand painted glassine-backed foil, used to label/decorate fireworks packages.Vintage 1900 or earlierThe foil is finely textured with patterns of tiny dots around the painted areas. Foil is strengthened by the glassine paper backing.Measures approx. 4 5/8\" in diameterBack stamped \"Made in China\"In remarkably excellent condition considering its age, with no paint loss, tears or other damage. NO odors, from my smoke-free home. This is a very beautiful and rare paper, lovely to frame or decoupage.
