Name fades, & we\'re unable to read it.
Late 1800s in age, but in clean, sturdy condition.
Well-made, museum quality piece.
There is missing paint & surface wear commensurate with age.
Very finely woven, with black & red paint accents.
Measures 6-1/2\" tall with handle, 5\" tall without handle, with about a 5-1/2\" lid diameter.
Not knowing the Asian character in the signature, we don\'t know the country of origin.
Great for a collector or as a whimsical decorator item.
No basket is ever in perfect condition ~ We only use a soft bristle brush on our baskets prior to sale & leave the patina to the new owner.
