Display hereis a Uniquely Carved Three piece Gilded Empire Louis XVI Salon Set, comprisingof Settee and pair of Empire fauteuils Chairs, dated: late 19th toearly 20th Century. Ornately decorative paint brush easel board andharp crest continuing with gadrooning motif on architectural rectangular andsquare frames, flanked with acorn finals. Partially padded elbow rest withdecorative spiral baluster supports. Held by decorative spiral tapered flutedlegs with chip carving apron.Original muted gilding which is so desirableto acquire, only with time. Upholstered U shaped backs and bench seating incotton muslin which has natural grain and some blemishes on the fabric.
