Featured here is a Pair of Unique Baroque Club BergeresChairs, dated: late 19th to early 20th Century. Heavily carvedfoliate scroll crest continuing with cube shaped raised arm rest with tons ofscrolls acanthus carving throughout the entire piece, all solid constructionframe. Rolled outward arms raised by fluted legs and S beaded scrolls,characterized by exaggerated fullness of scale and proportion. Original giltpatina which has worn and muted through age, yet it’s so desirable (seephotos). Upholstered in cotton muslin fabric which should be recovered or leaveas is. The matching daybed settee is onanother listing, contact me if interested in the set.
