Presented here for your consideration is this 19th Century Anglo Irish Cut Glass Lead CRYSTAL Compote.

Featured is a rolled rim Compote with Cut Thumbprints on the rolled rim with an intricate Intaglio Cut and \"Polished\" DIAMONDS optics effect on the underside of the bowl and is so superb in executionthat it displays many patterns. The Hollow Stem also show cut panels and the underside shows a deep cut Star pattern. Shows some very small air bubbles towards the center where stem attaches to bowl. Has a resounding ring when finger is flecked to edge of bowl.

On the interior center of the Bowl is a hand etched number of \"14\" and below this are some letters but cannot discern (please see close-up image #8).

This has been UV+++ tested.

Quite an extraordinary example featured here and has all of theHallmarks of a 19th Century Anglo Irish Cut Glass/Crystal Piece.
