GorgeousItalian Louis XVI Empire Canapé Settee, dated: late 19th Century, highrelief decorative crest continuing with floral beaded motif on a beveledrectangular shaped frame. Partially padded elbow rest with open ram’s horn armsand acanthus carving below it. Held by decorative fluted legs, original giltleaf which is a muted patina, so desirable to acquire. Upholstered back andseating in vintage silk velour blend in lite lemon color. Any reasonable offerwelcome!
