Orthodox Icon in Kiot frame, egg tempera and gesso on wood. The hand painted surface of this Icon is bright and extremely well preserved. The writings and the Masters markings are very clear. This Icon is in original and unrestored condition. Well preserved. Measurements in Kiot 20 1/2\" w x 3 1/2\" x 30 1/2\" ht.
The painting framed 18 1/2\' w x 21\" ht.
The painting unframed 14 1/2\" w x 17\" ht.
The Kiot or wooden box is hinged,the door in front has no glass. Icons are fragile. These are excellent images of the Mother of God and her family of Saints.
