Here we have an antique 19th Century intricately carved Wood Gargoyle Figure. Measures 12\" tall by approximately 7-3/4\" x 3\". Overall in good condition. The left hand has been chipped off at some point. Purchased this at an estate sale in Holly, Michigan\'s Historic District. In the cellar of the house there was a lot of very old Mill work and carved wood gargoyles that appeared to have been on the outside of this home or one in the area. This is one of those pieces. It appears to have originated from the Orient. There is a hook on the back to hang it on the wall. This is clearly over a 100 years old. See pics.
