19thC AMISH PIN CUSHIONS hand made STUMP WORK & HOOKED RUG STAR design FOLK ART:

!From an Amish barn sale...... delightful antique pin cushions....see 4 photos.

The smaller one is stump work - a 3 dimensional wool - 9 patch floral design with tiny white button centers. Trimmed in varigated lace crochet - ruffled and scalloped. Measures 4 1/2\" square.
The other is hooked rugwork - an 8 pointed star on black. Delicate ruffled and scalloped lace edging. Measures 5\" square (not counting ruffled trim). Lace is slightly loose in one back corner. Can easily be sewn (I don\'t sew). Otherwise, both are clean, colorful and ready to use.
Use for straight pins orsafety pins or just hang on the wall in your sewing area.
