This is a fabulous 19th century 3 piece Egyptian Revival clock set. It is made of black marble, bronze and gilt bronze and onyx. Beautifully chased sphinx sits on top and 2 winged griffins flank each side. Hieroglyphics on front onyx. This is the only version that I have seen of this clock set that comes with a pair of great candelabra. The set is in very good condition except for some slight chipping along the front bottom edge of the clock, a hairline crack in one of the onyx pieces in the front, and a crack in the marble at the back of one of the candelabra. Can send close-up photos if requested. The imperfections are slight, very common for pieces of this age and in no way detract from the beauty of the set.
