We are pleased to offer this very unique, architectural salvaged daybed frame panel. This old (mid to late 1800s) 2sectionpiece would make a beautiful and interesting fireplace screen, room divider, wall hangingoraccent floor piece.It is also a very nice way to accent a tallpotted plant. It is a constructed of solidwood (oak?) panels with a carved, archedtop section. The ends of each upper frame feature VERY DETAILED, carved wood, dragon heads. The heads have carved eyes, ears, nostrils and large incisor teeth/fangs.The upper trim, including the dragon heads, are finished ingold leaf. The panels have been painted in white and teal with the originalfinish also left as accents. The originalpaint, while still partially present, hasworn and the wood is a natural color in these areas. Thepanels are footed. They have a lion paw, carved detail.Because they were side or back feet, theytheyhave a \"sliced\" profile. The original bolts, attachment lock, brackets and hinges are still in place but could be removed. The unit is in good condition. There is some wear to the carved dragons, particularly to the ears as a couple of them have chipped. This is not distracting.

This is a gorgeous piece.It is hinged andcan be displayed with a straight profile or it can be positioned as an \"L\" shape. The hinges (which arehidden in between the panels) allow for the unit to be folded.

The frame measures49\" wide and 27\" tall. When positioned in a \"L\", it measures 34\" wide and 20\" deep (or reversed).The wider panel is 33\", the other is 18\". IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY FOR ITS SIZE.
