Description 2-1/2\" Gold Pendant with Imperial double headed eagle, the coat of arms of the Russian Federation surrounded by gem stones. Beautifully done Russian gold pendant. It is 2-1/2\" tall 1-5/8\" diameter, 5\" circumference with beaded edges, bow on top of double headed eagle in the center all over a malachite back. The eagle shows a cross in a crown at the top, and holds a scepter on the left and a cross on the right.There are 4 red garnet or ruby cabochon stones and the one in the center looks like a garnet or ruby, what do you think, around the edges. It all comes together for one beautiful piece. Malachite is thousands of years old,6 prongs on the back holding the Malachite in, I don\'t know how old this is? I suspect 19th century or older.I Googled this information.The double headed eagle first appeared in Russia during the time of Moscovia in the 15th Century. Two headed eagle has been the symbol of the monarchy of Russia for more than four
