Last pictures are of the mine in South Africa. Very labor intensive, first the top cover is removed with a large Track Hoe, then workers manually shovel and pry the layers of Tiger Eye out of the ground, then carry up and out to the chipping area where the matrix is hand chipped off. Then sorted by color and grade. Hand loaded onto a truck and taken to the yard for final sorting. All in a desert area near the Kalahari. All these workers were very happy to have their job - now all have no job due to Government \"help\". There are two very good short videos of Tiger Eye mining on You Tube.
