2 Antique Japanese Hand Carved Netsuke Rope Basket Bonsai Tree:

2 beautiful antique hand carved Japanese netsukes in very good pre owned condition. One is a manmaking a rope basket. The top of the rope is broken off. Old small chip on foot. Please see pictures. The other is of a man carrying a bonsai tree. This is invery goodcondition with asmall chip at the base. They each have what looks likenice graining and patina. Ibelieve they are made of a plastic type composite but not 100% sure of that. They were made circa 1930. Nice carving and scratch detailing. They measure about 2 3/8\" tall. I found these at an estate sale. The owner was an avid collector of everything Japanese. Please view pictures closely as they are a large part of the description. Thanks.
