2 Antique Spun Cotton Christmas Ornaments Pear & Peach--Germany:

The spun cotton pear ornament measures 2-1/4\" long and the spun cotton peach measures about 1-5/8\" in diameter. The pear has a cloth wrapped wire hanger and is sprinkled with a fine flaky-sparkly coating ( I think crushed glass ). The peach has a cloth wrapped stem and a paper leaf lightly glued to a wire vein and is also sprinkled with crushed glass ( the peach is in good condition and the leaf is not ). One like them shows up on page 259 of the Pictorial Guide to Christmas Ornaments & Collectibles, probably made in Germany. They show some storage patina ( discoloration & a bit dirty ), but they are in good condition structurally.
