EXQUISITE PAIR OF ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE VASES
Superb Quality, Qianlong Marks
Rare pair of exceptionally fine Chinese Famille Rose bottle form vases. Utterlymagnificent, hand decorated with an abundance of vibrant flowers in raised polychrome enamels. The artist paid great attention to minute detail with hundreds of individually depicted petals. Very tasteful with reserved white space surrounding the bouquets to allow the brilliant porcelain to reveal itself. Both vases are marked on the underside with the six character Qianlong sealmark in underglaze blue within the recessed foot. As with all Chinese marks, these may be from a more recent period as marks were often used to honor prior eras. The vases do have age, and we believe thesedate to the Republic Period or late Qing Dynasty.The quality is utterly magnificent as with Qianlong porcelains of the late 1700s. One vase is ever so slightly shorter than the other, indicating that they were hand potted. The vases measure approximately 9.25\" high, and are in excellent antique condition with just minor surface wear commensurate with age.
