2 MID 1800s CHELSEA PORCELAIN FIGURINES WOMAN DOG SHEEP

Presented is a handsome pair of porcelain figurines. These figurines are done in vibrant colors and bright patterns. The woman sits next to a sheep and the man sits next to a dog. They are decorated in bright green, purple and yellow. Both figures have fabulously detailed flowers and ribbons decorating them and their seats.

Both figures are marked on the back with the gold Chelsea anchor. This would date these pieces to the 18th century. We believe that these are copies of Chelsea porcelain work from the mid to late 1700\'s and that they actually date to the mid 1800\'s.

These are wonderful pieces in great condition. The woman has a break to one loop of her bow and her arm at the elbow and at her shoulder but these have been nearly invisibly repaired. Otherwise the pair is in great condition and there are no cracks, no chips, no breaks, and no repairs.

The man is 9 1/2 inches tall.

The woman is 9 inches tall.
