Hi folks, the BIN is for two (2) 4” x 4” hinges with original worn box and the original slotted screws. The condition is NOS with dings and scratches from age, storage and rubbing each other in the box. When you hold a pair of these in your hands you’ll know immediately these are nothing like the junkie imports made today of some type of pot metal. A well-made pair of cannon ball tip removable pin butt hinges with a dull bronze finish over steel that are nice and tight with no sloppiness at the knuckles. Made by the National Lock Company about the middle of the last century, “Mid-century”. My pictures are large because I not only want to tell you what you’re getting but also for you to see what you’re getting.

Oilmay havebeen applied butitems should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection.

NOTE: Be very careful when buying antique hardware. I’m seeing more reproductions showing up at flea markets and sales then ever before. Remember, if it\'s too good to be true....

About half of what I sell on is antique hardware most of which I bought before was even someone’s dream. First I bought it for the Victorian home I had and then I just started buying it because I liked it.

After I receive your item back I will then refund all money! I will also refund return shipping up to $25.00 if you contact me by email and not open a case in the resolution center.

SHIPPING POLICY!

My shipping policy is all items will ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment. I ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday every time, if I don’t then you might want to send flowers. If your item is bought on a Saturday and I’m at work I will take it to the post office inside drop off box that day/night so they have it to process first thing Sunday or Monday. I don’t ship with newspaper and a prayer; I use quality materials and care. Newspaper is only used as filler but never as the main source of protection.

NOTE:

I don’t know if this came from a smoke free home or not. The fact is almost all antiques came out of a home that someone smoked in at one time.
