This item is an old ca. 1910 Randahl Shop (Chicago, IL), pair of Sterling Silver Hand Wrought napkin rings, with the rings each having a monogram (see pictured), and with both rings in excellent condition. Napkin rings have been used, but not abused. There are some light surface usage scratches, but no dents, bends, or other serious flaws. Each ring measures about 2-3/4 inches long, by 3/4 inch \'deep\', by 5/8 inch wide, and each is marked with the old Randahl Sterling Hand Wrought JOR with hammer stamped mark, as we are showing in the attached photos. On-line research shows the Randahl Shop to be an old arts and crafts silver shop located in Chicago and operated by Julius O. Randahl and his partner, with the shop producing various hand wrought sterling items using this JOR hammer mark from about 1907-1910, as best we can learn from on-line research. The two rings weigh a combined weight of 1.10 troy ounce, or 34.2 grams, on our jewelry scale, but the true value likely lies in the quality of the workmanship used to make the napkin rings, as Randahl was a true old world craftsman, who brought his skills to this country from Sweden during the arts and crafts era.
